Boston Sports and New England Entertainment

The Boston sports and entertainment scene provides a plethora of action for throughout the year. For non-sports fans, there are plenty of alternative entertainment options that are conveniently located near our North Shore hotel.

  • Boston Sports Club - Guests have access to the North Shore's premiere health and fitness center, the Boston Sports Club, located a quick two minutes from our hotel.
  • TD Garden - Opened in 1995 adjacent to the famed Boston Garden, the new mega-arena is New England's premier sports and entertainment facility. Located atop North Station, the arena is the home to the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics and the Boston Blazers (National Lacrosse League). Throughout the year the facility welcomes concerts, the circus, ice skating shows and many other cultural events.
  • Agganis Arena - Located on the Boston University campus, Agganis Arena hosted its first event in 2005. The 7,200 seat multi-purpose arena is home to the Boston University Terriers NCAA hockey team and also hosts Boston University basketball games, concerts and ceremonies of neighboring colleges.
  • Boston Symphony Hall - Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, Symphony Hall is considered one of the top three concert halls in the world and the finest in the U.S. The Hall serves as the home for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops Orchestra and the Handel and Haydn Society.
  • Fenway Park - Built in 1912, Fenway Park is the oldest continually used ballpark in use by Major League Baseball. The stadium is home to the Boston Red Sox and has recently undergone several enhancements to improve the visitor experience including increased and more comfortable seating, improved concessions and wider corridors.
  • Tsongas Arena - Located on the University of Massachusetts - Lowell campus, the multi-purpose arena has a capacity of up to 7,800 for concerts and is the home to the university's NCAA hockey team. The arena also hosts concerts, trade shows and other regional events.
  • Comcast Center - An open-air amphitheatre located just south of Boston, is traditionally open from May - September and welcomes nationally touring acts. The 20,000-seat complex features reserved covered pavilion and open-air seating, in addition to general admission lawn-style seating, and has been featured in many bands' music videos.
  • Gillette Stadium - Located equal-distance between Boston and Providence, Gillette Stadium is home to the New England Patriots and New England Revolution (Major League Soccer) teams. The stadium celebrated its 2002 grand-opening by unveiling the Patriots' Super Bowl championship banner from the prior season. Visitors may access the stadium on game days via the Providence/Stoughton and Franklin MBTA lines.
  • CoCo Key Water Resort - CoCo Key Water Resort, Danvers Largest Indoor WaterResort. CoCo Key combines the relaxation and enchantment of the islands with the wild excitement of over 65,000-sq. ft. of indoor waterpark fun.
