Fabulous Boston shopping within close proximity to Sheraton Colonial Boston North Hotel.

From funky clothing and accessories stores along Newbury Street to high-end luxury malls, shopping in Boston and the metro north area allows visitors and locals the opportunity to peruse locally-owned shops and international chains with ease. Guests to our North Shore hotel will find our hotel is conveniently located close to the area's best shopping.

  • North Shore Mall - One of the largest shopping malls in New England with over 120 retailers and anchored by mall department stores such as Macy's, Nordstrom, J.C. Penney and Sears. Interestingly, the mall was originally built as an open-air shopping centre though enclosed during the 1970s. New dining establishments include The Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Chang's.
  • Square One Mall - Located along the Route 1 corridor, the mall first opened in the mid-1990s and was credited with bringing improved redevelopment to the Boston suburb of Saugus. The mall is anchored by TJ Maxx, Sears, Macy's and Best Buy and features over 115 stores including Forever 21, H&M, Old Navy and Pacific Sunwear.
  • Burlington Mall - An upscale shopping center anchored by Nordstroms, Lord & Taylor and Macy's. Located in nearby Burlington, the mall features over 170 retail and dining outlets. Within recent years the mall has undergone a revitalization including the addition of The Cheesecake Factory, Legal Sea Foods, Burberry, Lacoste, Zara and many other exciting stores.
  • Faneuil Hall - Originally constructed in 1742, Faneuil Hall today is one of Boston's pre-eminent shopping and entertainment attractions. Located near the Boston Harbor, the National Historic site features an international food court, wide selection of restaurants, unique shopping stalls and well-known chains such as Urban Outfitters and Abercrombie & Fitch.
  • Newbury Street - Running between the Boston Public Gardens and Massachusetts Avenue, Newbury Street has long been synonymous with both funky, eclectic shopping and high-end established retailers. Between strolling along the tree-lined streets window shopping at Marc Jacobs and Kate Spade or Urban Outfitters and Ben Sherman, feel free to grab a quick bite or a full meal at any of the numerous restaurants.
